We strive to offer a wide variety of items to give you many wonderful choices AND so that together we can offer opportunities and stability to more deserving families and communities in need across the globe. We aren't yet able to consistently maintain stocks of all of these items. For items we currently have in stock, the Availability field will read "In Stock." In most cases, you will receive in-stock items in 8-10 days. For items listed as "Made to Order", lead times will vary by item with more accurate delivery dates quoted at time of order. In most cases, we will ship orders complete according to the longest lead time item on the order.

Fundraising Partner Information
Trade Expressions partners with organizations on fundraisers for an agreed upon contract period. If the organization you are looking for isn't in the list, their contract has likely expired or their fundraising campaign has not yet started.
We invite visitors that are not affiliated with a fundraiser to select one of the international development organizations we support (select OTHER for State). A portion of your purchase price will be credited to the organization you select.
Even if you don't specify a fundraising partner or development organization, the purchases you make still help support the artisans, families and communities we represent.

H20 for Life School to School
H2O for Life is a non-profit organization that provides funds to directly support water projects in developing countries that lack an adequate and sustainable water source. Through service learning projects, schools in the U.S. raise funds to complete these water projects.

These “school to school” relationships connect students from different cultures. U.S. students gain new skills and a more global perspective while seeing the direct, positive impact their efforts can make on the lives of others.

Voluntary Information
We only collect personally identifying information when you volunteer this information. Examples of where you might volunteer this information include when you create an account, complete online forms, transact orders or email us. We may collect:

  • Account information including your email address, shipping address, and the password you create for yourself.
  • Order specific information including order dates, items ordered, shipping information and payment information.

Passive Information
As with most any web site, generic visit information is collected as visitors browse the site. We may collect:

Ordering & Shipping
The following sections describe the various aspects of our ordering and shipping policies.

Ordering Methods
We currently only accept online, retail orders.

Order Confirmations
As soon as you submit your order you will see a confirmation page that includes your order number and order details. We will also email this confirmation to the email address listed on your account.

Order Tracking & Order Status
You can check the status of your order, and view other recent orders, by logging into your account (click My Account, enter your login information, and then click View Recent Orders). A listing of your orders from the last six months will display.

Order status codes are defined as follows:
  • Open : order is being processed. It has not shipped nor reached the quoted delivery date.
  • Shipped : order has shipped from Trade Expressions.
  • Backordered : has not yet shipped and it is past the quoted delivery date.
  • Shipped Incomplete : some but not all items on the order have been shipped.
To view the order details, you can click on the View Order button. The line status codes are Open, Shipped, and Backordered as defined above but at the line level.

You will receive an email notification when an order ships. We will also contact you if any items on an order backorder.

Order Changes or Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please call us at 1.800.566.0295. If the order has not yet shipped, we will be happy to accommodate the change or cancel the order. If the order has already shipped, please see our Returns policy for details.

Shipping and Delivery
All products are shipped via UPS Ground and we current only ship orders within the contiguous United States. Shipping charges are provided at the time of order and are based on published sliding scale.

Delivery Dates
We strive to offer a wide variety of items to give you many wonderful choices AND so that together we can offer opportunities and stability to more deserving families and communities in need across the globe. We aren’t yet able to stock or consistently maintain stocks of all of these items.

The delivery date on your order is based on the longest lead time item on your order since in most cases we try to ship orders complete. Stocked items generally ship within a few days; make-to-order items will have longer, quoted delivery dates. You can place separate orders for stock and make-to-order products if you would like to receive the stocked items right away and the make-to-order items at the quoted later date.

In order to help you make informed choices, we estimate delivery dates as accurately as possible when you place your order.
  • Delivery days for in-stock items are based on order processing and shipping times.
  • Delivery days for make-to-order items are based on producer lead time estimates plus order processing and shipping times.
Backorders
If any product on your order is unavailable to ship in time to meet the delivery date, we will create a backorder for these item(s). We will ship all available items at that time. We will receive an email when items backorder and if we are unable to fulfill the backorder within a reasonable time frame.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will refund you fully for the purchase price plus any additional charges. (If a portion of the proceeds from your purchase was credited to one of our fundraising partners, they still keep this money). If you would prefer, we can also reship a replacement at no charge to you.

Credits, Returns and Replacements
If your order is received damaged, you received the incorrect items, or you are not satisfied for any other reason, we will either replace the item or give you a refund. Please see details below.

Damaged Items
If you received damaged items, please save the entire contents of the order and promptly e-mail us at orders@tradeexpressions.com or call us at 1.800.566.0295. Please refer to your order number in your communication. We’ll work with you to replace the item or refund your money. In some cases we may also ask you to return the original product.

Returns, Exchanges and Credits
We ask that returns, exchanges and requests for credit be submitted within 30 days of receiving your purchase. Simply:
